Kerry started dancing at the age of 6 with the Hawkes school of dancing. At 21 she moved to Footsteps stage school where she completed her first associate in Tap.
Kerry went on to open Shuffles School of Dance in October 2001. Shuffles was initially intended to run on a Saturday morning however, filled up quickly and Kerry had to add more classes during the week so more people would be able to benefit from the experience she could offer.
Shuffles is still growing and is one of the most popular schools in the East End of London. Kerry trains students in the theatre subjects of Tap, Ballet, Theatre Craft, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Freestyle and Acrobatics with a 100% pass rate for examinations and always ensuring all students are trained to an excellent standard. Kerry also trains other dance teachers in all theatre subjects so that they can go on to deliver quality dance teaching themselves. Kerry trained for years under the watchful eye of Miss Yvonne Gout - Former president of the IDTA, and she now continues to train with IDTA examiner Alison Plummer. Kerry is also a qualified teacher with Acrobatic Arts and Alixa Flexibility.
From a young age Amy proved to be a very promising young dancer, always coming top of her class in exam results and gaining many medals in festivals.
Amy completed all her grade examinations with excellent results and went on to complete her Intermediate tap in 2012 gaining an excellent 86%.
Amy has now gained her freestyle associate and is on her way to completing her associate in Tap. Amy is a very popular teacher whose students always achieve excellent exam results, themselves.
